An annual mammogram, along with a breast exam by your medical provider, is the most effective way to detect breast cancer early. At WestHealth Women's Imaging Services, we provide diagnostic and screening mammography in a comfortable, private setting.

Advanced digital technology allows our radiologists to electronically adjust, store and retrieve digital mammogram images. Subtle differences between normal and abnormal breast tissue may be more easily noted on digital scans than on conventional mammography film.

Our registered technologists have special certification in mammography, so you know you're in the hands of qualified, experienced experts. All mammograms are read and interpreted by board-certified radiologists, who have completed advanced training or fellowships in mammography. We will fax our report to your physician's office within 24 hours of your visit.

Insurance and payment

Annual mammograms are covered by most insurance plans, but may require a medical provider's order. Check with your health insurance plan to determine your specific benefits.

We accept all major insurance plans and will submit an insurance claim on your behalf. We also accept cash, checks, Visa, Discover, American Express and MasterCard. Co-payment is due at the time of service.
