Our on-site pharmacy is one of 15 pharmacy locations owned and operated by Allina Community Pharmacies. You do not need to be an Allina patient to use our pharmacy services.
At WestHealth, we stock a wide range of medications for children and adults. Pharmacy team members have special expertise with many types of prescriptions, including those for fertility, dermatology and pain management. Our pharmacists are always available to answer your prescription questions in person or by phone.
To fill a new prescription, we need a prescription order signed by your physician. Your doctor's office may phone us or fax your prescription. We are able to fill most prescriptions while you wait. Your prescription can also be mailed to you at no charge. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for mail delivery.
A refill can be ready in 24 hours, if there are refills remaining on your prescription. You may request a refill for a current prescription by phone or online. Please allow 1 to 2 business days, if your doctor's office must be called for refill authorization.
We can also help you transfer a prescription previously filled by another pharmacy. You may call us to request a prescription transfer or make the request online. We will need the name and phone number of the pharmacy you have been using, the prescription number and the name of the medication. Once the prescription is transferred to us, we can process your prescription.
Allina Community Pharmacies fill prescriptions for most major health plans. We also accept cash, checks, Visa, Discover, American Express and MasterCard. Check with your health insurance plan to determine your specific prescription drug coverage benefits, including co-pay.
If your insurance does not list Allina as a pharmacy provider, we will apply to become a provider with that plan so that we can fill your future prescription needs.
